Hi delegates!
BMUN will be holding a THIMUN Procedure Workshop on Friday, March 4th, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Anna Head Alumnae Hall. Chairs from UNHRC and UNSC (Security Council) will be leading the workshop, so be sure to drop by and review THIMUN with us! We will be breaking down THIMUN procedure and helping you apply your knowledge of definitions, resolutions, amendments, speeches, POIs, and more. If time allows, we may be able to hold a THIMUN simulation even before committee starts.
This workshop is strongly recommended to delegates who are relatively new to working with THIMUN for the first time. As you may have noticed on the THIMUN guide, our procedure differs from that of regular MUN procedure, and can be difficult to pick up during committee if you do not understand it beforehand. The THIMUN workshop is a great way to familiarize yourself with how THIMUN actually works, and the chairs will provide further advice and examples beyond that of our blogs and procedure guide. This is also a great opportunity to practice asking questions and making motions to your chairs before committee, so don’t miss out!
